Welcome to Pendzi. By creating an account or using our services (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read them carefully.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use Pendzi. By using the Service you represent and warrant that you are 18 or older and legally able to enter into these Terms.
2. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity on your account. Provide accurate information and keep it up to date. One person, one account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to: harass, threaten, or harm other users; impersonate anyone; post unlawful, hateful, sexually exploitative, or infringing content; solicit money or engage in scams; use bots or scrape the Service; or attempt to circumvent safety, moderation, or payment systems.
4. Content & moderation
You retain ownership of content you post but grant Pendzi a licence to host and display it to operate the Service. To keep the community safe, our moderators may review, redact, or remove content and messages, and may disable accounts. Automated filters may flag content for review.
5. Subscriptions & payments
Some features require a paid subscription or one-off purchases. Prices, billing intervals, and what each plan unlocks are shown before purchase. Payments are processed by our payment providers (including M-Pesa). Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. You can cancel auto-renewal at any time from your account.
6. Safety
Meeting new people carries risk. Pendzi does not conduct criminal background checks. Always exercise caution, meet in public, and use the block and report tools. Never send money to people you meet on the Service.
7. Termination
You may pause, deactivate, or delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access for breach of these Terms or to protect users. Some provisions survive termination.
8. Disclaimers & liability
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pendzi is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for the conduct of other users.
9. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new "last updated" date and, where appropriate, notify you. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
